22/11/2023

The project involves Marchi & Fildi, Filidea, Tintoria Finissaggio 2000, De Martini Bayart e Textifibra and Di.Vè and aims to develop innovation, efficiency and sustainability in the textile business.

We decided to join this netwrok in order to imp rove our innovation by actively partecipating to a textile supply chain more sustainable and to promote ecological approach in fabrics’ production system.

How does this project work?

We create prototypes to be shown to possible costumers and such prototypes can be produced on an industrial scale in each company’s plant. The network represents the most important steps of all the textile supply chain; fiber preparation, spinning, knitting, dyeing and finishing and it is open to welcome new partners.

Magnolab also cooperate with schools in the textile business. Since the beginning, an important business plan was decided and the companies invested more than 10 million euros in order to buy new machines and to develop this circular economy model; the ai mis to transfor garments in fibers and yarns to be re-used in the textile sector or in other business sectors.

The purpose is to make interaction between students and companies more easy by stimulating research, development and production in a real textile supply chain.
