Maglificio Maggia Joins Museimpresa: A Journey Through Time with Our Fabrics

13/02/2025

Maglificio Maggia is now officially part of the prestigious Museimpresa network, a recognition that highlights our deep commitment to preserving the rich history and tradition of textile craftsmanship. T

hanks to the meticulous work of Dr. Roberta Varoli, owner of Archivia, a treasure trove of over 3,000 garments has been cataloged and organized. This journey through time takes us from the 1970s to today, showcasing the evolution of our production and revealing the secrets behind our iconic fabrics.

From the celebrated tennis collections that marked our brand’s history to pieces crafted for renowned maisons such as Prada and Enrico Coveri, the archive is a true treasure chest of stories, artisanal skill, and Italian creativity.

This invaluable collection is now open to the public, offering a unique opportunity for designers and fashion enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Italian knitwear. Visitors can closely admire the fabrics, craftsmanship, and techniques that have made Maglificio Maggia a benchmark in the industry.

The exhibition is set within our historic facility in Occhieppo Superiore (BI), where, alongside the most iconic garments, original machinery can also be discovered, creating an even more immersive experience.

Joining Museimpresa means becoming part of a network of companies that share the same passion for industrial history and the development of Italy’s cultural heritage.

We are thrilled about this project and proud to contribute to enhancing our textile legacy.
